2) They embrace challenges and setbacks

Rather than being discouraged by setbacks and challenges, people with a growth mindset see them as opportunities to learn and grow

The third thing about people with a growth mindset that I want to mention in this part is that they know that feedback and criticism are essential for learning and growth. 

They welcome feedback and are open to hearing different perspectives, even if it’s difficult to hear. 

They use feedback as an opportunity to learn and grow, rather than taking it personally or becoming defensive.

My ex-partner was someone who always had a growth mindset, and even though we are not together anymore, I still admire his ability to be open to change and new experiences. 

He embraced change and new experiences as opportunities for learning and growth, and was not afraid to try new things and take risks, even if it meant stepping outside of his comfort zone.
